M_Neurology
I’m a PhD candidate in the Development & Stem Cell Biology Graduate Program at the University of California, San Francisco. I study how inhibitory neurons develop in the embryonic brain, focusing on stem cell populations in the caudal ganglionic eminence. My research combines single-cell and spatial transcriptomics with in vivo organotypic slice culture to explore how distinct neuronal subtypes emerge and acquire their specialized functions in large mammalian brains.
