Mercedes hosted a Neuroscience seminar presented by one of her collaborators, Juergen Knoblich, PhD. He is currently the Scientific Director (Interim), the Institute of Molecular Biotechnology of the Austrian Academy of Sciences.  His seminar title is "Analyzing human brain disorders in stem cell-derived cerebral organoids". They've recently published a paper "Amplification of human interneuron progenitors promotes brain tumors and neurological defects" in Science.
